The Yelloshi Magic Kraken Collectible Wearable Boro Glass Octopus Necklace / Sculpture Made to Order

This is a fun one.....a new type of glass which reacts to different light sources by changing color! In regular lighting he is a nice soft butter yellow, but step into the average office or fluorescent light, and suddenly he is bright pink! It's called CFL glass, and I think it might be magic! You can see the exact same picture under the two light sources next to each other in the pictures above. This guy is right around 2.5" from loop to tentacle tip. Plus it has my favorite Octo eyes!

These octo pendants are all made in the fire of the torch, using only traditional hand tools, no molds are used, so each one is hand formed. Still approx 2.25" across, formed in the torch and properly annealed in a digital kiln for durability, this one arrives safely wrapped and attached to an adjustable black cord necklace, ready to give or keep. Handmade glass eye chip gives him such realistic eyes, you might want to keep him on his rope, just in case! Really fun and safe to wear, for a truly dramatic look!

Stamped on the bottom with the Maker's Mark "M" while still molten. Each of these Octos are Made to Order using only the best quality Boro glass, which means it is made when you order it. So expect small differences as with any original art piece.

These are designed to look as good sitting on the shelf or in the fish tank as they look around your neck!

Most of these items are made to order so like any handmade item, there may be small differences in the actual item you receive. Particularly with boro glass, lighting really affects the colors of the glass. Eye color may vary, depending on what eye cane is available. If you have a preference for color or pupil shape, just include a quick note and I'll do my best to make it happen.
